Getting started

You can start building your invitation without an account — you'll be prompted to save (create a free account) before sending. Guest list, RSVPs, and reminders require an account since we need somewhere to save your event data.
Most hosts send their first invitation in under 5 minutes: pick a theme, enter your event details, add guests, send. The card editor has a learning curve if you want to customize typography, but the defaults look great out of the box.
No. Guests click your invitation link or reply to an SMS and RSVP immediately — no app, no account, no friction. This is one of the things we're proudest of. Guest friction kills RSVP rates.
Everything. The invitation editor works best on a desktop or laptop for drag-and-drop card design, but the guest RSVP experience is fully optimized for mobile. Your dashboard works on any device.
Yes. The free plan has no time limit, no credit card required, and no feature lock. It supports up to 50 guests per event. Paid plans add more guests, SMS invitations, signup lists, guest questions, and optional branding removal.

Invitations & card design

Quite a lot. The card editor lets you drag text blocks anywhere on the canvas, change fonts (30+ options), adjust font size, color, alignment, and case. You can add or remove text blocks, and resize/reposition the invitation card to portrait or landscape.
Yes. Pick from 30+ fonts in the card editor, and use any color for your text. The editor also reads your invitation's background colors and suggests matching palette swatches automatically.
PNG, JPG, and WEBP. We recommend at least 1200×630px for landscape or 1024×1792px for portrait orientation to ensure crisp rendering.
Yes. The card editor shows a live preview of your invitation with real event details filled in. You can also use sample data to see how the design looks with different event names, dates, and locations.
Yes. Themes are saved in your theme library and can be reused across as many events as you like. Each event gets its own customized instance of the design.

Sending & delivery

Three ways: type or paste email addresses and phone numbers manually, import a CSV file with your guest list, or share a public RSVP link for open events where anyone can register.
Yes. Each guest can receive an email, a text, or both. SMS invitations are available on Plus and Pro plans (100-250 texts/month) and Event Pass (150 texts).
Guests receive an email showing your invitation card image with a clear RSVP button. The email is clean, mobile-optimized, and clearly labeled as being from you (not from a generic address). Yes We're Coming branding appears in the footer on free plans.
Currently US and Canadian phone numbers. International SMS is on our roadmap. Email delivery works globally.
Yes — add yourself as a guest, or use the built-in preview link that lets you see the guest experience without consuming an invitation slot.

RSVPs & guests

Group invitations let you send one invitation to a couple or family and have them respond as a unit. Instead of "Did Sarah respond? Did her husband respond?", you see "The Johnsons — 3 attending." The group leader RSVPs for their whole group.
Yes. You can set a maximum number of attendees per event, and the RSVP form will show as full once that limit is reached. New RSVPs after the limit go on a waitlist.
Anything. Dietary restrictions, t-shirt size, song requests, carpool preferences, whether they're bringing a dish. Questions can be text answers, yes/no, multiple choice, or single-select. You can mark questions as required or optional. Available on Plus, Pro, and Event Pass.
Signup lists let guests claim specific items or slots. Common uses: potluck dishes ("who's bringing dessert?"), volunteer tasks, time slots for tours or activities. Guests see what's taken and what's available and claim their item when they RSVP. Available on Plus, Pro, and Event Pass.
Yes. Guests can click the link in their invitation email or SMS at any time to update their response. You'll see the change in your dashboard immediately.

Reminders

Automatic reminders are emails sent to guests who haven't responded yet. The free plan includes 2 automatic reminders scheduled at sensible intervals before your event. Plus and Pro plans let you customize timing and send more reminders.
Yes. Your guest dashboard lets you filter by "hasn't responded" and send a targeted reminder to just those guests — without bothering people who already RSVPed.
Yes. You can send manual messages to your guest list at any time, before or after the event. Useful for sharing recap photos, thanking attendees, or linking to a follow-up event.

Billing & plans

We're setting up Stripe now. If you need Plus or Pro features urgently, email hello@yeswerecoming.com and we'll set you up manually. We'll notify you when the payment system goes live.
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
Your events are preserved. If you downgrade, existing events keep working but the free tier limits apply going forward (50 guests max per event). We don't delete your data.
We're planning to offer annual billing at a discount once payments launch. Email us if this is important to you — it helps us prioritize.
