Privacy policy
Yes We're Coming, a DBA of Atlanticus Innovations LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operates yeswerecoming.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Account data. When you create an account: your name, email address, and password (hashed — we never store it in plain text).
Event and guest data. Event details you enter (name, date, location) and guest information you add (names, email addresses, phone numbers). This data is yours; we process it only to operate the service on your behalf.
Usage data. Standard server logs: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. We use this for security monitoring and to diagnose errors — not for advertising.
Communications. When we send invitations or reminders on your behalf, we log delivery status (sent, bounced, opened) so you can track them.
Payment data. Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and improve the service
- To send invitations and reminders on your behalf
- To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (email delivery, payment processing, cloud hosting).
Data storage and security
Data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel.
Guest data
If you received an invitation through Yes We're Coming, your name and contact information were provided by the event host, not collected by us independently. Contact the host if you have questions about how your information was obtained.
Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time; this removes your personal data within 30 days. Event and guest data you've created is deleted along with your account.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@yeswerecoming.com. We respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us at the same address.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie banner is required because we don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We'll notify account holders by email of material changes. The current version is always at this URL.
